More Wackiness from a local 'Christian' Church
They are at it again. The cult "Dove Church" just up the road from our house is now forcing the children of the church to send a message of hate by wearing "Islam is of the Devil" t-shirts. The good news is that no local t-shirt company would print the shirts and the schools are kicking the kids out for dress code violations. The "Reverend Jones" who runs the church is becoming increasingly strange. One can only wonder if this is a prelude to another religious tragedy. The church is very, very strange.

Thank you! I read the Gainsville news article and all I can say is...Oh My! Professor...is there something in the water? (Sorry, couldn't help myself). I returned to the University of Oregon to finish my degree in Anthropology, and am finding a heavy dose of Christian influence in the ethnographies assigned.

In particular, the Islamic involvement was censored. The MSM never reported the child-rapes or other typically Islamic aspects, even though the children were being knifed to shouts of 'Allah Akhbar'.

Lest we forget that from June through September of 1692, nineteen men and women, all having been convicted of witchcraft, were carted to Gallows Hill, a barren slope near Salem Village, for hanging. Another man of over eighty years was pressed to death under heavy stones for refusing to submit to a trial on witchcraft charges. Hundreds of others faced accusations of witchcraft; dozens languished in jail for months without trials until the hysteria that swept through Puritan Massachusetts subsided.
Christianity is also of the devil. In fact religious zealots from all faiths can be presented here. Christianity has just as checkered as history as does Islam or any other religion.
